I originally created this character back in 2002 as my first delve into subdivision surfaces in Cinema 4D.
In 2013 decided I wanted to give Bob a makeover, with updated software and skills. Both the grass and Bob's fur used Cinema 4D's hair system, with the fur consisting of 900,000 physical hairs (which put quite the strain on my PC at the time). Everything was rendered out to layers in Photoshop, where I achieved the final look.
I learned a lot working on this piece, and was quite pleased with the end result.
